International School Award (2016-17)

Global exposure to the young minds has been a task of priority for the educators of today. Through the British Council International Learning programme, we at East Point School, Vasundhara Enclave has taken this tedious task as a challenge. By engaging our students in a plethora of intriguing projects, we earned the coveted International School Award (2016-17). Our teachers acquainted the students to a bonanza of projects as ‘Flavours of Seasons’, ‘Vibrant Indian Festivals’, Safety on Roads’, ‘Fun with Mathematics’, ‘Sustainable Environment’, ‘Healthy Eating-Happy Life’ with legion accompanying activities ensured panoramic sight for the them. Several activities also constituted the exchange sessions with national as well as international schools through emails, pictures, videos, skype chats and social media as YouTube, Facebook, Blogs and so on. These, activities will not only stay in their memories for yonks, but they will also be a medium to pass on this acquired knowledge to the people in their surroundings.   This learning was beneficial not only as far as knowledge is concerned but it also rendered an array of skills. To name a few such as the interpersonal-intrapersonal skills, cognitive and logical thinking, connecting theoretical and practical lessons, the LSRW (Listening/ Speaking/ Reading and Writing) skills, team spirit, cross cultural acceptance and global citizenship. To sum in short, this International School Award has been a prime milepost in our school’s journey and we are its proud participants.
